The process

Set it up once. Sell cards from every shoot after.

Embed the widget in your gallery. Card Genie generates the card, takes the order, prints, and ships. You earn revenue on every card — no extra work after setup.

Step 1

Embed the widget

Drop one snippet into your gallery, proofing site, or store. The widget lives next to the photos your customers are already browsing.

Step 2

Parent picks a photo

The parent chooses their kid's photo right in your gallery. The widget previews a personalized trading card in seconds.

Step 3

They check out

Parents pay through your branded storefront. No download, no app, no account — just one quick checkout.

Step 4

We print + ship

Card Genie handles the printer hand-off, packaging, and shipping. Cards land at the parent's door; you get the payout.

You're in control

The four levers your studio actually wants.

No locked pricing. No forced fulfillment. No platform-branded chrome. The whole point of Card Genie is to layer a high-margin product on top of how you already run your photo business — not to replace it.

Pricing + products

You set the pricing. You pick the products.

Digital downloads, printed cards, protective slabs — turn each one on or off per storefront. Set the retail price. The widget reflects your choices in real time.

  • Digital-only, printed-only, or both — your call
  • Optional $7 collector slab upcharge
  • Per-product pricing lives in your dashboard
  • Change it anytime — no redeploys, no waiting
Fulfillment

You decide who prints + ships.

Hand-off mode (we print, slab, and ship — $7 per printed card) OR self-fulfill (every order’s printer-ready file lands in your inbox, you take it from there). Same dashboard either way.

  • Hand-off — zero printing logistics for your studio
  • Self-fulfill — every order routed to your printer
  • Magnetic display case ships with every printed card
  • Switch modes per campaign or per season
Distribution

Your branded storefront — OR the embeddable widget.

Run cards through your existing gallery (drop in one widget snippet) AND/OR a standalone storefront at cardgenie.shop/p/your-studio. Both inherit your logo, brand colors, and theme.

  • Embed in any gallery / proofing site / store
  • Standalone storefront URL — share, post, print on a poster
  • Optional sub-storefronts per league or event
  • Default-fill values so parents don’t retype the obvious
Marketing kit

Marketing handed to you.

Once you’re live, we send a packet of assets you can ship to parents day one — no Canva work, no extra design vendor.

  • Print-ready QR-code poster for picture day
  • Email banners sized for newsletters + bios
  • High-res sample mockups branded to your studio
  • Refreshed each season

Why photographers use Card Genie

The product your photo business has been missing.

Cards add a parent-friendly, high-margin layer to the work you’re already doing — without the inventory risk, design lift, or shipping headache.

A new revenue stream from existing galleries

You already shot the photos. You already know the parents. Cards layer a high-margin product on top of work you’ve already done.

No new gear, no new software

Card Genie handles the design AI, the storefront, the checkout, the printer, and the shipping. You don’t learn another tool.

AI-generated cards from any photo

Parents pick the photo from your gallery. We generate a styled, sport-themed trading card automatically. No design work.

Your brand, not ours

The widget and storefront wear your colors, your logo, your business name. Card Genie powers the back end without showing up front.

High margins on every order

You set the retail price. Card Genie handles production and shipping. The 70% revenue share is the largest of any white-label sports card product.

Works with your league + team relationships

Already shooting for a league? Run a Card Genie campaign aligned to picture day, tournaments, or end-of-season — and split revenue with the league if you want.

What parents see

From photo to card in under a minute.

Parents see their kid’s photo, tap to preview the trading card, customize the name and number if they want, and pay through your storefront. No download, no app, no account.

  • Pick directly from your gallery
  • Instant card preview
  • Buy extras for grandparents
  • Cards ship to their door
For parents & grandparents

A keepsake that beats a generic photo package.

Parents already pay you for photos. A personalized trading card feels more special than another print and is easy to multiply — grandparents, aunts, uncles, and family friends all get their own.

  • Personalized, not generic
  • Easy to gift
  • Optional extras for the whole family
  • Looks like a real trading card

One parent order often means three or four cards — one for the family, more for the relatives.

Kids actually love them

The collectible kids show off to teammates.

Cards aren’t a wall print — they’re something kids put in their pocket, swap with teammates, and stack in a binder. That’s what makes them sell out at picture day, tournaments, and after-game hangouts.

Word of mouth from kids drives reorder rates higher than any marketing email you’ll send.

Repeatable revenue moments

Run cards as themed campaigns.

Each campaign is its own time-limited drop with its own branding, pricing, deadline, and fulfillment batch. Run one a season — or one for every weekend you shoot.

Picture Day Add-On

Bundle a card with your standard photo package. Parents add it during checkout.

Tournament Edition

Limited drop tied to a tournament weekend. Open + close around event dates.

All-Star / Showcase Cards

Hand-pick standout players into one collectible roster after the event.

Playoff Edition

Chase cards for teams still alive in the bracket.

Championship Edition

Commemorative limited-run set after the title game.

End-of-Season Keepsake

Full team set as a season-wrap deliverable for every parent.

Post-Shoot Email Upsell

Follow-up email after the shoot with a direct link to the parent’s preview.

Common questions

Quick answers

How does the embed work?+
You drop one HTML snippet into your gallery, proofing site, or store. The widget renders inline with your branding and connects to your Card Genie storefront. It works with most photographer platforms — Pixieset, ShootProof, ZenFolio, Squarespace, Shopify, and custom sites.
Do I need to design the cards?+
No. Card Genie auto-generates each card from the parent-uploaded (or gallery-selected) photo using approved sport-themed templates. You can curate which templates appear on your storefront.
What does this cost me?+
Setup is free. Card Genie handles printing, shipping, and storefront infrastructure. You keep 70% of every card sale. There are no monthly fees, no per-account fees, and no inventory commitment.
Who handles printing and shipping?+
We do. Cards are printed-to-order at our print partner and shipped directly to the parent. You never touch fulfillment.
How do payouts work?+
You connect a Stripe account during setup. Card Genie pays out monthly via ACH directly to your business bank — no invoicing, no manual reconciliation.
Can I use my own gallery?+
Yes. The widget is designed to live alongside your existing gallery. Parents can pick a photo from your gallery (when integrated) or upload their own — either flow ends in a personalized card preview.
Can leagues I work with also earn a share?+
Yes. If you’re shooting for a league, you can run a joint Card Genie campaign and split the revenue share with them right inside the dashboard. Great for picture-day bundles.
What if a parent has a problem with their order?+
Card Genie handles customer support for the printing and shipping side — you don’t have to field reprint requests or shipping questions. You stay focused on shooting and selling.
How fast can I be live?+
Most photographers are set up the same day. Sign up, connect Stripe, paste the embed, and start selling.
